Percy B. Stephens I Wish I Was and Only Cat Award

Percy Stephens here, and I would like to announce a category I am sponsoring for my stupid, I mean my cute sisfur Abbie's contest; I am proud to announce the Percy B. Stephens I Wish I Was an Only Cat Award. This award is for kitties that do not have a fur sibling to irritate them on a daily basis. If you are an only kitty, make an entry about the best thing about being an only kitty, and the kitty that makes me the most jealous will win a trophy and a prize pack. Being a generous Ginger, entries for only kitties are eligible for the $1 donation to Project HAM. You only kitties sure have it good. You don't have to share laps, toys, pets or cat trees and I really envy you.

Good! I am an only kitty and I have the run of the house with total undivided attention from SS - I lay on her lap whenever I wish and have scritches and treats on call. Absolutely NO sharing.

Being an only cat has its down fall also....there is no other cat to put the blame on when stuff happens....like a chewed up house plant....a pile of yak on the bed...some pee spots in the bath tub...sandpaper licks all over the stick of butter....over turned piles of nice fresh laundry. I can not get away with anything, even if I have the laps all to myself!

WAHOO!! I love being an only kitty because I get all the tummy rubs, ear scritches, treats, and toys. Because I am an only I get mom's attention whenever I want without another cat butting in on my mom time, and I don't have to share green papers with other cats so there's more stuff for ME!
Also, I can lay wherever, and whenever I want. No spot is alreayd taken by another cat, and no other cat pushes me out of my spot. When mom speaks, I know it's just to me and I don't have to wonder which cat she's talking to. I have my own cube, cat tree, 2 beds, 2 nap mats, and plenty of toys and food. Oh, and I can eat and drink in peace without another cat interrupting me, or trying to steal. (BTW, everything Miss Peach said is true, but there's lots of good things about being an only!)

One of the best things about being an only kitty is that I can play the starring role of Drama Queen in any Kitty Play I wish to purrrrform in and get all the Applause....or all the ...oh well...we won't go there hee hee!
Love Miss Peach....is it time for my close up Mr. DeMille???? (as she bats her over mascarad eyelashes in his direction!)

I was an only for 8 glorious years. Ah, those were the days. Can't I get a prize for explaining how much I preferred living alone? How much Victor torments me? How jealous and miserable I am? I'm so neglected!

I'd love to enter your contest and tell why I'd RATHER be an only cat, but I guess this is for cats who already ARE only cats. Darn. I've got 2 sisters and 2 brothers and that's 4 too many.
Grr
